he date is set; all you need to do now is
plan the wedding day itself.
Fortunately, as the Algarve becomes more and
more popular as a destination for dream
weddings, the region's venues and suppliers
have raised their game and provide everything
you could imagine – and more – to make your
special day truly unforgettable.

wedding ceremonies – each one unique –

Although it is possible to be legally married
in Portugal, a process that is gradually
becoming less complicated, the paperwork
and language barrier often make it a less
appealing choice. As Becky suggests to her
clients, the easiest option is to officially get
married at the registry office in your home
country and then have the wedding ceremony
here in Portugal in front of family and friends.
Far more personal than your average service,
there are no restraints as to the vows and
promises expressed, how long the ceremony
lasts and it can combine different religions and
cultures. Many couples still prefer to follow a
traditional format, and in this way they can
have a beautiful ceremony that is uniquely

their own story.

For the make-up, Mandy Ware is a
professional freelance make-up artist whose
skills and the leading brands she uses mean

For the bouquet, and for beautiful flower
arrangements for the ceremony and reception,
Suzannah's Flowers is the go-to florist for
wedding planners in the know. This family
business offers truly unique bouquets, with

the summer months, and Lagos-based
