St. Vincent-DePaul
St. Vinny's is in need of volunteers. Please consider helping us help others by giving a couple of
hours a week or month. With summer coming up soon, I would like to encourage students to do
so as well. All areas of the charity operation, including Angel Store, Thrift Store, Warehouse, and
Food Bank can use an extra hand. All Saints Conference is in need of volunteers for home visits
and someone to answer the phone and scheduling visits.
St. Vincent de Paul is also currently accepting applications for several positions including Director
of Operations, Stores Manager, Bookkeeper, and Charity Support Coordinator. Please call 7610111 to speak to Jan Cameron.

As a mission of Holy Spirit Parish, our school receives a
significant subsidy FROM THE PARISH to help run our programs.
This contribution from the parish allows us to keep our tuition at a
competitive level. All the parish asks from us in return is to serve coffee
and rolls at the parish Masses one Sunday a month. This duty involves
all the families in the school meaning each family has ONE
WEEKEND A YEAR to do this wonderful service. We have posted
directions in the parish kitchen. It is not difficult. You are asked to
start the coffee and get the tables ready before Mass. So you should be
there about 1/2 hour before the start of Mass. After communion, you
should go back and get the coffee and juice in carafes, put the carafes on
the tables, and get the rolls ready to serve. THE ROLLS ARE
ALREADY THERE SO NO BAKING IS INVOLVED. When
everyone who is assigned shows up, the jobs are so easy! When only
one family comes or NOBODY SHOWS UP, it looks like the school
doesn’t appreciate the parish’s efforts or contributions. PLEASE mark
your calendar, and be sure to show up when it is your turn. IT IS ONE
TIME PER YEAR!! Granted, not all of us are parishioners at Holy
Spirit, but Holy Spirit School is a PARISH SCHOOL and each of us
benefits from their support. This church community needs to see that
our students appreciate the support.
THANK YOU!
