L A RELIGIOUS EDUCATION CONGRESS & YOUTH DAY L A Religious Education Congress Friday, March 13– Sunday, March 15 The largest event of its kind in the US. Its objective is to offer in-service education and spiritual formation to those in catechetical and related ministries. It offers more than 280 workshops covering a vast range of topics from spirituality, music and personal development to biblical studies and catechesis. Come into our Faith Formation Office to pick up a booklet or register online at www.RECongress.org Youth Day * Thursday, March 12 Youth Day is held annually on the Thursday of the Religious Education Congress weekend. It is a day just for youth from many different backgrounds from throughout the Archdiocese – and beyond – to participate in a Rally, Liturgy and Workshops focused just for them. This is a mandatory event for all Conformation 1. Please turn in your permission slip and payment of $50 by January 15. ADULT CONFIRMATION A new class is starting the first week of January 2015, with Confirmation on Pentecost Sunday, May 24, 2015. If you are an adult, have been baptized and received your First Communion, please join this class, be confirmed and become a fully initiated member of the Catholic faith. All Catholics are strongly encouraged to be Confirmed, to receive the strength to practice the Faith.
