We hope you find this publication useful as it contains a wealth of information about local groups and organisations across the county borough of Bridgend. The guide has been produced as a result of the continuing successful partnership between Bridgend County Borough Council, ABMU Health Board, NHS Direct and Bridgend Association of Voluntary Organisations (BAVO) and we’d like to thank all those involved in the production. South West Wales Safeguarding Older People Project Provides advocacy support and information to older people aged over 50 helping them to have their views and wishes heard, the service empowers individuals and helps to promote independence. This project is a collaboration between Age Connects Morgannwg, Age Connects Neath Port Talbot and Age Cymru Swansea Bay and is funded by the Big Lottery Fund.
