Dear Members and Friends of the Parish,
Demetrius Saturday is this Saturday, November 1st. Before Vigil at 5:30, there will be a
pannykhida for the commemoration of those who have reposed in the Orthodox Faith. If you will be
unable to attend and would like to have someone commemorated, please contact Father John before
Saturday.
Thank you to everyone who cooked and/or and attended the very delicious “Russian Dinner”on
Sunday. The parish is blessed with so many wonderful cooks and helpers. Well done to all the hard
workers; there were $600 in donations!
The Christmas Bazaar and Concert is coming up in 3 1/2 weeks!
Please see page two for information regarding it. There will be posters and invitations at the Church
for distribution. As well, attached to this e-mail is the pdf for the Bazaar which you can use to e-mail
friends and family who might be interested in attending.
Matushka Barbara has provided sign-up sheets for what to bring and how to help with this event. As
this is the Church’s main fund raiser, please do all you can. There will be raffle tickets, posters and
‘invitations’ available soon, both on line and at the Church.
May God Bless You
Father John
