A TRIBUTE TO MAMA
When the will of Henry J. Heinz, wealthy distributor of the famous “57” varieties line, was read, it was found to
contain the following confession:
“Looking forward to the time when my earthly career will end, I desire to set forth at the very beginning of this
will, as the most important item in it, a confession of my faith in Jesus Christ as my Savior. I also desire to bear
witness to the fact that throughout my life, in which there were unusual joys and sorrows, I have been wonderfully sustained by my faith in God through Jesus Christ. This legacy was left me by my consecrated mother, a
woman of strong faith, and to it I attribute any success I have attained.”
Dear Church Family,
Mark and I want to let you know that we
appreciate each and everyone of you. We are
thankful to be apart of a church family that gives
so much of themselves. We appreciate all the
prayer, visits, food, and the generous gifts. We
cherish all the love and support we have received.
Thank you,
Mark, Melony, Mason and Kate Hopfer

MOTHER
They say that man is mighty,
He governs land and sea,
He wields a mighty scepter
O’er lesser powers that be;
But a mightier power and stronger
Man from his throne has hurled,
For the hand that rocks the cradle
Is the hand that rules the world.
---William Ross Wallace
Paula Fontenot volunteers in many ways behind the
scenes. She is pictured here putting Junior Camp
books together. She was the primary source of
gathering supplies for the Widow’s Banquet. She
organized the Easter Egg filling projects, and
is always ready to run errands for anyone who
needs her She is appreciated for her willingness to
serve in so many different ways.
