N a t io n a l Y o u t h LEADERSHIP T r a in in g P r o g r a m F O X F I R E Camp Ottari, Blue Ridge Scout Reservation Foxfire NYLT is a six day outdoor training course for those Scouts who want to develop their skills of leadership to the next level. This course is an intense, challenging program designed to develop Unit Leaders by providing an experience of fun, excitement, action and challenge in the concept of leadership. Participants will experience presentations, and patrol competition through a wide range of activities, games and adventures. They will work and play together as they put into action the best that Scouting has to offer. Foxfire NYLT provides, knowledge, skills and experience that will benefit participants for their lifetime. This course is led by a staff of youth leaders and follows the BSA Syllabus. Sunday, June 12- Friday, June 17 Ÿ To provide each participant with a toolbox of leadership skills consisting of key Sunday, June 19- Friday, June 24 course concepts. Sunday June 26- Friday July 1 Ÿ To operate according to the Scout Oath and the Scout Law. Ÿ To have FUN!
