Second, I also want to add that the theme focus of
2016 will be revealed in the January 3rd service. I will
also be sharing what is in my heart for our body and
for Greenville not just for 2016 but for the focus and
the direction of this body. I know that you will want
to be there for this service. God has been so gracious
to bring us to Greenville and we know that He has
great things ahead for FBCG.
In close, I want you to know that you are loved by myself and my family and we are so grateful to be a part
of this church. May our Lord be praised as we seek
Him faithfully.
ADDRESS SERVICES REQUESTED
First, I want to remind everyone of our 40 days of
fasting and prayer that we will be begin this wonderful new year. There are guides that will be available
on fasting and prayer that will support the sermon
that was delivered on December 27th. This can be
found on the churches website and also in print in the
church office. I want to encourage you to participate
as the Lord leads you to and know that He is able to
do above what we could ask or think (Ephesians 3:20).

We (myself, Kim, Zachary and Caleb) are so excited to
be here and so looking forward to our first year here
at First Baptist. It has been a whirlwind of activity
over the last couple of months and we have been so
blessed to get to know some of you and look forward
to spending time with all of you as the Lord gives us
opportunity.

WOW ! !
Youth and families I am very excited about the New Year
and all that is ahead. Probably some of the biggest things
coming this year are our parent led discipleship and monthly
Life Seminars. Along with our learning time on Sundays
and Wednesdays, we have fellowship times at HIMprov comedy nights and
Youth Fellowships each month. Parents, I look forward to continue in our
Parent Book Fellowship and invite all other parents to join us. Also of special
note for this month, we have two big events; Student Evangelism Conference
(15-16) and Surrender Summit (16-18). I hope your youth can find a place to
join us and you all will pray for all the youth activities in the New Year. For
more information for all these events and to keep you better informed, I will
regularly hand out to parents in Worship services both Event Info Pages and
Mini Newsletter. I have been sending weekly email updates on what is going
on in Youth. Also, I have been sending weekly email updates on what is going
on in Youth. If you are not receiving emails from me, please let me know.
My church email is bill@fbcgreenville.org. Amy sends out group texts to the
Youth and parents with last minute event details, requests for RSVPs, etc.
I again want to express my thanks for the opportunity to serve our youth families and have to say again how excited I am for what 2016 has is store for our
youth.
