Immaculate Heart of Mary September 24
Immaculate Heart of Mary Church Parish Mission/Misión Parroquial With Mary, we seek to know Christ better and to make him better known through our words and actions. TWENTY TWENTY--NINTH SUNDAY IN ORDINARY TIME, OCTOBER 16, 2016 Saint Teresa of Avila, October 15 Christ has no body now but mine. He prays in me, works in me, looks through my eyes, speaks through my words, works through my hands, walks with my feet and loves with my heart. 500 Fairview Avenue • Brentwood, CA 94513 • (925) 634-4154 • FAX (925) 516-9340 Website:www.ihmbrentwood.com — E-Mail: ihmchurch@ihmbrentwood.com Office Hours: Open Monday-Friday 9:00 am-4:00 pm. For our sake he was crucified under Pontius Pilate, he suffered death and was buried, and rose again on the third day in 3 accordance with the Scriptures. 3. To commemorate these events, our group is giving you the opportunity to express your love for life. After mass, stop by our table, say hi, and pick up a free wristband. Although the wristband is free we are asking that if you take one, you wear it as often as possible during the month. If someone asks you about it, you have to say something positive about life. The wristbands say “I Love Life’ so your answer can be that simple too “I Love Life”. It is up to you what you say, but this is our opportunity to show those around us that Catholics love life, and we want others to love life too. Only God gives life, and believe that only God should take an innocent life away. If you don’t want a wristband, stop by anyway and check out the information we have about saving life, one life at a time, or you can show your support through your donation Para conmemorar estos acontecimientos, nuestro grupo le da la oportunidad de expresar su amor por la vida. 9 SVDP CANNED FOOD DRIVE Announcements/Avisos For the weekend of October 23, please bring canned soup.
