Reflection from the Pastor:
In today’s Second Reading, the author of the Letter to the Hebrews reminds
us that, “[Jesus] is not ashamed to call [us] brothers”. The Lord is very close
to us, so close to us that He makes us members of His family, and more than
that, members of His Body, the Church. The Lord invites us to remember
this every day, and to act with the confidence born from our closeness to
Him.

Bulletin Bits from the Diocesan Stewardship Office
"Once One Chooses to be a Disciple of Christ, Stewardship is
not an Option”
Let the children come to me! All of creation is ordered to the wisdom of
God. When we seek to understand the will of the Father and follow it, his love and
mercy become apparent to us. However, when we choose to follow our own hearts'
desires, conflict and pain regularly intervene in our lives. The words of Jesus in
today's Gospel can be applied to more than marriage. We are joined to God as part
of his creation. We should not separate ourselves from him. When we approach the
heavenly Father as a child, with trust and love, we are comforted and provided for in
all our needs. May our Savior lead us into the Kingdom and enable us to share the
Good News.

No debemos
