Great strides were made in academic achievement, the arts, sports, science, literature, and most importantly, in their faith and commitment to community. Here are just a few of those memorable and meaningful moments they shared with fellow students, teachers, staff, Father Dan, Father Carlos, parents and grandparents. From Christmas with Santa to becoming an altar server to winning a medal at the Science Fair or the Battle of the Books, participating in the Diocesan Day of Service, donning Halloween costumes, receiving first Eucharist, singing in Bye Bye Birdie, taking the CYO basketball tourney prize or playing in the band concert, this was a year that will live on long after summer begins. 556– page 6 Special thanks to SMLS Moms Valerie Meslin and Carolyn Mazur for collecting and/or shooting the photos on pages six and seven! 556– page 7 Registration is open for Cave Quest: Following Jesus the Light of the World, a “Totally Catholic” Vacation Bible School program.
