HELP THE BOYS GO TO ROME! The ICA boys are selling coupon books good for all kinds of
restaurants, clothing stores, sporting goods, travel, the symphony, grocery stores, and many
more. They are $20 each (make your check out to Immaculate Conception Academy), and $10
of each purchase goes to the boys! With so many coupons you will easily save so much more!
Come check them out at the church office or school office or contact one of the Junior or Senior
boys.
PARISH ANNOUNCEMENTS CONTINUED
CATHOLIC CADETS OF AMERICA Enrollment
is open to all boys who have completed
6th grade or are at least 12 years old. For more
information please contact the priory office.
BAKE SALE Please note that our Cadets will
hold a Bake Sale on Sunday, Nov. 22 in the
church basement after all the Masses. They will
provide an assortment of baked goods which
you can take home or to others for a
Thanksgiving dessert. Please advise your taste
buds in advance.
THE PILGRIM VIRGIN STATUE Most people
cannot make a pilgrimage to Fatima. Our Lady,
with characteristic humility and love,
overcomes this difficulty by reversing the
process. She becomes the pilgrim. Instead of
making a pilgrimage to her home in Fatima, she
makes a pilgrimage to yours. If you would like
the Pilgrim Virgin Statue to visit your home,
place your name on the sign-up sheet in the
vestibule, and the Legion of Mary will bring
her to your home. Note: This statue is our
parish’s and not the statue that is traveling
throughout the US District of the Society.
HOLY NAME SOCIETY MEETING Sun., Nov.
15 after 8:30 Mass in the old school building.
Nominations for new officers will be held.
Holy Name Sunday is now on 3rd Sundays.
EXSURGE TRIVIA NIGHT Sat., Nov. 21 at 7 pm
for the adults of the parish.
AUCTION NEWS
A big “THANK YOU” to all who donated,
attended, participated, volunteered, and
prayed for the success of the Auction. We
had quite an evening and there was excitement in the air! The auctioneer, Randy
Wells, did an outstanding job. Thank you
again to one and all who helped in so many
ways.
Please note that it takes some time to pull all
the figures together to provide an amount
raised, after expenses. This number will be
published in the bulletin shortly.
In the meantime, if anyone needs a receipt
for their purchases, please call Liz Bignell at
(208) 773-7442.
Also we found an earring at the Best Western after the guests went home. If you lost an
earring, please call the priory office.
54-DAY ROSARY NOVENA
The Novena will begin on Saturday, November 21, Feast of the Presentation of the
Blessed Virgin Mary. We offer this powerful
Rosary Novena not only for our own intentions but also for the intentions of the other
participants. Anyone desiring to join this Rosary Novena should contact Jan Johnson at
(208) 777-1840 or email her at
