RELIGIOUS EDUCATION PROGRAM
ALTAR SERVERS
Registration for the school year 2015-2016 will begin on Sunday,
August 2nd from 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM. The fee is $50.00 for one
child, $75.00 for two children $100.00 for three children or more.
(You will need your child/children’s) birth and baptism certificates
at registration.
Any young boys and girls who have made their first communion or are already in preparation for first communion are invited
to join the Ministry of Altar Servers. Please call the rectory or
speak to one of the altar servers or the moderator.
Mission Appeal
Parish Bazaar
The Parish is sponsoring its annual Bazaar on the weekend of August
29th and 30th. New and assorted items will be sold, and vendors are
needed. Table fees will be donated to the Church. For more information, please contact Alistine Aikins at (718) 346-1923.
CAMBA’s iBRIDGE PROGRAM
We will be visited by Fr. Tom Hagan, OSFS, on the Weekend of
August 1st & 2nd and a second collection will be taken. Please be
generous.
Fr. Tom Hagan is the founder of Hands Together as a response to
"the cry of the poor." Their primary purpose is to help people in
Haiti's poorest areas. Their work is based on Catholic social
teaching and they provide hope and dignity through four assistance components:
• Education
• Emergency Intervention
• Nutrition/Health
• Agriculture & Development
Their projects are largely Haitian-run and designed to address
root causes of poverty to give charity to the most vulnerable.
CATHOLIC CRUISE TO CARIBBEAN
Come and sail away on a 7-night Catholic Caribbean Cruise with
(Priest to be Assigned by the Apostleship of the Seas of the United States of America) September 13th - September 20th, 2015 on
Royal Caribbean’s Navigator of the Seas out of Galveston, Texas. Ports of Call: Cozumel (Mexico), Belize City (Belize), Roatan (Honduras) and back to Galveston, Texas. Prices begin at
