FINBARR -- Father Tom Welcome to all who have arrived in Southwest Florida this week… just in time for the celebration of Christmas! And, welcome back to the St. Finbarr Catholic Community!! We share a great blessing with one another whenever we gather to celebrate the Eucharist! Let’s enjoy this time! WELCOME to Father Edward Beck who joins us this weekend and who calls us more deeply into this time of renewal!! Remember, Fr. Edward will be gathering with us this Sunday afternoon (Dec. 16) at 4:00 PM. Please join with us for a time of prayer and reflection as we move closer and closer to Christmas. I thank all who participated in the Festive Christmas Dinner this past Friday evening and also the many, many folks who supported the Christmas Cash Giveaway! The winners of the Cash Giveaway are posted on the bulletin board in the lobby. Again, thank you for the TREMENDOUS involvement – both of those already in Florida for the season and those still in the North! TOGETHER we continue to make a difference in the life and growth of this Catholic Community at St. Finbarr!! We continue to receive registration record updates and that is a necessary help in our attempt to bring all of the parish records up to date. THANK YOU for your assistance and patience as we make the corrections in addresses and phone numbers. If you have not yet done so, please pick up your 2008 parish support envelopes. If you cannot find your name on one of the boxes of envelopes, it may indicate that we were not able to contact you by mail or phone and incorrectly concluded that you are no longer living in the Naples area. It may be that in the transfer process from San Marco to St. Finbarr, we unintentionally overlooked your name and information. Or, we may not have you registered at St. Finbarr. Whatever the situation, a call to the Parish Office this week can get all things in order. Educational Opportunity Are you striving to grow closer to the Lord?
