Can you spare about an hour on any

help out? On a regular basis or to
even give occasional cover.
Please see Irene Mclean if you can.
Sylvia is looking for anyone willing to part with their favourite recipe
or recipes. A recipe book is planned for Christmas time to raise funds
for the building fund . This maybe a good Christmas present for someone. Your name can be added to the bottom of the recipe or if it's an
original from many years ago the original copy of the recipe can be
inserted with the mucky fingerprints or the butter stains on the page.
Whatever you wish to insert to make the book more interesting and a
MUST to buy.
Please give any recipe to Sylvia with instructions.

Marjorie and family wish to convey their sincere appreciation to our church family for the many kind and
thoughtful expressions of sympathy extended to them by way of cards, letters, telephone calls, personal
callers and flowers sent to the house, during the sudden 'home call' of Frank.
We wish to thank our pastor, David McCaig, for his much appreciated pastoral support and uplifting
words of comfort, the ladies who served teas in the hall and finally to the very many who paid their last
respects in the church and at the graveside.
God bless you all.

PETERHEAD STREET PASTORS
We are looking to recruit more new volunteers! Our start date for training is 10th September in Aberdeen and we would love to train another 10 Street Pastors. We provide fifty hours of training over a period of about ten weeks, which includes six Saturdays from 10am to 3pm. This initial commitment is a major factor in becoming one of our volunteers but many reflect back to us how good the training is and
how it helps them in other walks of life and faith.
Our volunteers then commit to being part of a team, none of our volunteers work on their own. They
then go out once every five weeks on a Saturday night 9.30pm-4am.
Please get in touch if you would like to join one of our teams for an evening as an observer or would like
more information. Frances Scott Elizabeth Strachan
