VISION STATEMENT
As a parish under the patronage
of Mary, Our Lady, we are called
like her, to draw others to Christ.
In the midst of this community of
Marysville, we recognize the call
from Almighty God to be the light
that draws others to believe in
God. We must make Christ present
by the way we live and the way we
love each other. Forgiving always;
being Christ to others ALWAYS!

creer en Dios. Debemos de hacer
presente a Cristo por la forma en

Spirit, seeking to grow together in
faith, love and charity. We are
called by God the Father to be a
welcoming presence of Jesus
Christ in our parish and community through worship, fellowship
and service.
As each one has received a gift,
use it to serve one another as
good stewards of God’s varied
grace.
parroquia y comunidad a través
de la adoración, compañerismo y
servicio.
Father Tom McMichael, Parish Priest
Dear Friends,
It is my privilege to invite you all to a very special Mass tomorrow evening at St. Mary. Tomorrow, Monday, April 18,
2016 at 7:00 p.m., Archbishop J. Peter Sartain will join us to confer the Sacrament of Confirmation on youth and adults
from St. Mary and St. Anne. This is a important day in the lives of the confirmandi who will receive the Sacrament, their
families and friends, their catechists, and our two communities of faith.
The YOUCAT (Youth Catechism of the Catholic Church) reminds us of what a wonderful gift the Sacrament of Confirmation is:
What is Confirmation?
Confirmation is the Sacrament that completes Baptism; in it the gift of the Holy Spirit is bestowed upon us. Anyone who
freely decides to live a life as God's child and asks for God's Spirit under the signs of the imposition of hands and anointing with Chrism receives the strength to witness to God's love and might in words and deeds. He is now a full-fledged,
responsible member of the Catholic Church. [CCC 1285-1314]
I especially want to thank our faithful catechists for their good work in preparing these candidates for the Sacrament:
Lesa Roehrich and Liza Harwell at St. Anne, and Michael Schmitz at St. Mary. Please join us for this wonderful celebration of our Catholic faith and this opportunity to get to know our Archbishop.
Easter Blessings,
Fr. Tom
Padre Tom McMichael, Sacerdote De La Parroquia
Queridos amigos,
P. Tom

Message from your St. Vincent de Paul conference for St. Mary and St. Anne:
Today, we celebrate “Good Shepherd Sunday” where we reflect on Jesus’care and love of us.
Your gift to the Society of St. Vincent de Paul showed us that you are indeed a disciple of Jesus , the Good Shepherd, as it will bring your love to those who live in fear and doubt, loneliness and dread. THANK YOU VERY
MUCH FOR YOUR DONATIONS!
